Two Teaching Assistant Professorships, Oklahoma State University (11/7)
The Religious Studies program at Oklahoma State University invites applications for two faculty positions at the level of Teaching Assistant Professor (career-track renewable contract) beginning August 2019. Ph.D. in Religious Studies or related discipline at time of employment and some teaching experience required. Areas of specialization must include at least one of the following: Hebrew Scripture, New Testament Studies, Early Church History (Apostolic Era to 1200), Systematic/Constructive Theology. Must be able to teach undergraduate lectures and seminars in at least three of the following: Hebrew Scripture, New Testament Studies, Jesus in Historical Context, Paul and the Early Church, Classic Christian Writings. 4/3 load. This is a teaching-oriented position with some service/committee work expected and research encouraged. Benefits and competitive salary. Career-track includes path to promotion to Teaching Associate Professor (w/o tenure).
